Silc Pig™ silicone colour pigments are used for colouring ALL Smooth-On silicone rubber compounds (Tin-Cure and Platinum) including Mould Max® translucent 'T' Series, Dragon Skin™ and Ecoflex™ rubbers. Silc Pig™ pigments also are also used to create mind blowing skin effects with Psycho Paint™ and Skin Tite™.

Silc Pig™ pigments are concentrated, offer excellent dispersion and consistent colour. Silc Pig™ pigments are very concentrated and a very small amount of pigment will colour a proportionally large amount of silicone. The more you add in proportion to the volume of liquid rubber, the more dramatic the colour effect.
Instructions
Silc Pig™ pigments are concentrated, so a little goes a long way when colouring Smooth-On silicone products. Recommended loading range is .001% to 3% of total silicone system weight.
Do not overload silicone rubber with Silc Pig™ or cure inhibition may occur.
Attaining just the right colour for your application may require trial and error testing. Small scale testing is recommended before using substantial amounts of material for any project.
Pre-mix Silc Pig™ pigment in container thoroughly before dispensing as settling may have occurred. Add Silc Pig™ colorant to the Part A side of the silicone rubber system and mix well before adding Part B.
The Pantone Colour Matching System is most commonly used in the printing industry to communicate colour. As it relates to Smooth-On colour tints and pigments, the represented colour is an approximation and people’s interpretation of these colours may vary. The user will determine suitability of a colour or combination of colours for the rubber, resin, foam or other product used specifically for their application. Due to the variability in products that are being coloured, application, colour concentration and other factors, Smooth-On makes no warranty with regards to the colour.
